Ed Leedskalnin's Coral Florida
This is the famous tables that is shaped like the state of Florida. It
is aptly called the "Florida Table". Ed carved this massive piece of
coral in one piece, and also carved several rocking chairs and placed
them around the table for people to sit.
The table was not just for leasure, but he believed that the Governor
of Florida and all of the heads of state should have come to his table
to discuss many things, including how to raise people's taxes.
More importantly, Ed has so perfectly postioned each of the chairs taht
he could run around and make all of them rock at the same time because
they were perfectly balanced.
How could a 100lb man with only a 4th grade education create coral
items with such precision that the touch of his finger could cause
1000lb chairs to rock?
